Here we are at the end of the month. Tomorrow will be December and most will find the festive within themselves. Festibiliy?Poulsbo, the neighbouring town, has already put up the street lights and that makes my morning runs all the more glorious.
My package from pencils.com arrived today. As an analog creator, I go through a ton of pencils. These ForestChoice pencils are one of my favorite for all around writing. They don't cost a lot either. Unlike the Blackwing 602 which goes for around three bucks. They tossed one in the box as a free gift. Thanks Palomino! The best thing about these pencils is that they are both made from incense cedar. As soon as I opened the box, the house filled with that aroma. Now I am really in a festive mood and makes me homesick all at the same time.
My wife and I made our annual trip to the post office in support of the US Postal Service to send off a load of packages to places far and wide: to the Southwest, the Southeast and to the Atlantic Northeast - my origin point.
Got home and wrote up all the holiday cards to my friends and family out in the world. Our cards are special because my wife makes them up. She's the creative genius in this house. My job is to help with the salutations. I also make the sentiment insert for the inside. I type it up on one of my typewriters, get it all arranged nice and scan it into the computer to make up enough inserts for all the cards my wife makes. I could type each one, but I'm not that dedicated and I’m pretty lazy. Haha!
We'll soon tuck into a nice lasagna and finish the evening in proper fashion.
Keep on truckin'
144 pencils should last you a while. I loved the punny title of this post. Keep on ruckin.
